The first piece of artwork we commissioned from Rachelle was a live portrait at our wedding reception that turned out amazing. Our wedding guests watched in awe as Rachelle transformed our favourite photo on the day into a canvas masterpiece. "his eyes filled with tears"
December 2023 was our 40th Wedding anniversary, I decided to surprise my husband with two portraits to celebrate the longevity of our relationship - one when we got married and a present day one. Rachelle chose a wedding photograph and we had the task of getting a photo of my husband and myself in a similar pose without him knowing. Every time we tried, he pulled faces for the grandchildren! Finally, we had one, a snap from a stranger at a wedding - not perfect but Rachelle’s talent shone through and made it great. On the morning, my husband cautiously unwrapped the present, as he saw the portrait of us when we were young, his eyes filled with tears. He couldn’t believe that I had done something so romantic and kept it a secret for over a year. Commissioning these two portraits was a fantastic decision, Thank you Rachelle.
