FREMANTLE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
FLOURISH 2026 X Fremantle Christian College Percent for Art Scheme
For Fremantle Christian College, Flourish was created as part of the redevelopment of the Upper School, for their new double-storey library and multi-purpose building. The large-scale mural celebrates growth, creativity and the formative journey of education through flowing organic forms and a contemporary visual language grounded symbolism.
Designed to foster a sense of place for students and staff, the work explores themes of renewal, identity and belonging, bringing vibrancy and movement into the architectural space. The project involved concept development, digital planning, large-scale mural execution and collaboration with multiple stakeholders throughout the redevelopment process.
PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
ABIDE 2022 X Providence Christian College Percent for Art Scheme
The work was created for Providence Christian College as part of the City of Gosnells Percent for Art project. “Abide” was designed as a homage to local flora fauna and to celebrate the popular Banksia Menziesii. The project explores the theme of connectivity through movement; the branches and leaves signify unity as they harmoniously flow in one direction. ABIDE fosters a sense of place and the composition is reminiscent of my former years attending the college as a school student. The title originates from the biblical passage in the book of John chapter fifteen, verse 4. “Abide in me, and I in you”. The project required the managing of a budget, working with digital software, and liaising with multiple parties such as public art consultant Alison Barrett, architect Brad, and manufacturer Arcadia.
EMMANUEL CATHOLIC COLLEGE
RENASANCE 2021 X Emmanuel Catholic College Percent for Art Scheme
Renascence is defined as the revival of something that has been dormant and alludes to fresh beginnings. The project brings to life each of the 8 House Saints of ECC; the paintings featuring living models with a similar physical likeness to each traditional Saint. Each painting is life size at 80cmx100cm. The project required managing a budget, working with a photographer and models to curate photographic reference material, and multiple site visits of the client to the art studio.
CLOSE TO HOME
2018 FCC X CITY OF CANNING WA PERCENT FOR ART SCHEME — MURAL “CLOSE TO HOME”
The work was created for Faith Community Church as part of the City of Canning Percent for Art project. “Close to Home” was designed as a homage to local flora fauna and to celebrate the Black Red Tailed Cockatoo, an endemic to the City of Canning region. The project title was coined as a play on the subject matter representing home, and also a personal anecdote as I was raised in the region and the work is visible from my old house’s backyard.
