Saturday Fortnightly Oil Painting Classes

A$100.00

Join a small, supportive group and build a strong foundation in realistic oil painting through guided, ongoing fortnightly lessons.

Beginning Saturday 24 October, 2pm–4pm, these classes are designed for complete beginners and those wanting to develop a more consistent painting practice. You’ll learn through demonstrations, structured exercises and individual guidance, gradually building your confidence, technical skills and artistic voice.

Classes are held at The Painting School, Goolugatup Heathcote in Applecross, with a maximum of eight students. Each two-hour lesson is $150 per person, including GST and all oil paints. Students bring their own brushes, palette and canvas, and should be available for at least the first three fortnightly lessons to establish a strong foundation.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place and will be credited towards your first lesson. The remaining $50 balance will be due before the first class begins.

Once your deposit has been received, you’ll be emailed a materials list and preparation guide.

No previous painting experience is required—just a willingness to observe, practise and learn.
